Identity & contact: name, email, phone, company, billing address, VAT/registration number where applicable.
Event details: date, venue, type, guest count, special requirements, venue compliance answers.
Signature: the digital signature you provide when accepting your quote.
Communications: emails, WhatsApp messages, enquiry submissions.
Website usage: limited analytics data via cookies (see our cookie banner).
We do NOT collect or store banking, credit card or ID numbers. Banking details flow through the client’s own EFT — no payment data passes through DriveHaus systems.
To prepare and send your quote, confirm and manage your booking, issue invoices, communicate with you about your event, provide customer support, and (only with your explicit consent) send occasional updates and offers.
Your data is stored in encrypted cloud storage (Netlify Blobs, hosted in compliant data centres). All transmission uses HTTPS/TLS. Access to client records is restricted to authorised DriveHaus personnel only. Bookings are typically retained for 5 years for tax and legal compliance.
We share data only with: our hosting provider (Netlify), email delivery service (Resend), and where required by law. We never sell, rent or trade your information.
You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention)
• Object to processing for direct marketing
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

A booking is only confirmed once a 50% non-refundable deposit has been received and the Client has accepted these Terms in writing. The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before the Event.
The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue meets minimum requirements: 10m x 8m footprint, 3m access width, 3.2m height clearance, level firm surface, and one dedicated 15A electrical outlet within 20 metres.
If DriveHaus arrives at the venue and is unable to set up due to inaccurate or incomplete site information provided by the Client, the full booking fee remains payable and no refund will be issued.
30+ days before: Full refund minus R1,500 admin fee.
14-30 days before: 50% of deposit retained, remaining credited for 12 months.
7-14 days before: Full deposit retained, no refund.
Under 7 days / after dispatch: Full booking fee payable. If DriveHaus rebooks the slot, 50% refund.
All cancellations in writing (email or WhatsApp).
If DriveHaus must cancel, the Client receives a full refund or option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Same rate for every event type. Day rate R3,000/hour (08:00–18:00, 4-hour minimum). Night rate R3,500/hour (18:00–22:00, 2-hour minimum). Quotes valid for 7 days. Travel zones: within 20km included; 20-40km at R6.00/km round-trip; beyond 40km not currently serviced.
All participants must follow safety instructions. The operator may refuse participation to anyone intoxicated, behaving unsafely, or under 12 without a guardian.
The Client is liable for any damage to DriveHaus equipment caused by the Client, guests, or third parties. Damage charged at repair or replacement cost.
DriveHaus may pause or stop operations for safety. Not liable for load-shedding or power outages.
DriveHaus not liable for indirect or consequential damages. The Client indemnifies DriveHaus against third-party claims arising from the Event.
