DriveHaus is a mobile golf simulator for hire, based in Pretoria East: a purpose-built trailer that arrives at your venue anywhere in Gauteng, opens into a tour-grade hitting bay in about 30 minutes, and is run by James, the owner, from the first call to the last ball.

THE COMPANY

Why it exists, and who is behind it

01 Why it exists The best golf in this country happens behind club gates: memberships, dress codes, tee-time sheets. Most people at a year end function or a wedding have never held a driver, and never will, because the course won't come to them. So we built one that does.

02 Who is behind it DriveHaus (Pty) Ltd was founded in Pretoria in 2026 by James Engelbrecht. He is the director, and also the person who answers the phone, writes your quote and stands behind the event on the day. One person carries your booking from first call to pack-down.

03 How a booking works You tell us the date, the venue and the numbers. James writes the quote himself, itemised, one total, and sends it today, usually within two hours. A 40% deposit confirms your date; the balance is due 48 hours before the event. On the day, James runs the whole bay.

04 What we don't do No one-size package: the starting hourly rates are on this site, and every event is quoted to its date, hours, headcount and venue, itemised line by line. No second invoice, because the quoted total is what you pay. And no claims we can't stand behind: if it is on this site, it is on the trailer.

WHAT WE BUILT

The rig, in four facts.

THE SIMULATOR ProTee VX A tour-grade overhead launch monitor, the same class of system used for serious club fitting and coaching, not an arcade toy.

THE COURSES 2,000+ real courses Pebble Beach, St Andrews and the rest, played on a 4.0 × 2.7m impact screen with short-throw laser projection.

THE POWER Our own, on the roof Four solar panels, a 5 kVA inverter and a battery bank. No venue power needed, and load-shedding does not stop play.

THE FOOTPRINT 8 × 6 m, 30 minutes Firm, level ground and half an hour, then your venue has a golf course.

WE HAVE DONE THIS IN PUBLIC: DriveHaus launched at the PGA Golf & Lifestyle Show, 18 to 20 September 2026, The Campus, Bryanston. Three days, 106 players, the longest drive 345.8 m. The same trailer comes to your date, and James runs it.
