THE TRAVEL RULE
One rule, in plain words.
Travel is included for any venue within 50 km of our base in Pretoria East, one way, measured by road rather than as the crow flies. That is 50 km out and 50 km back, inside the price.
Beyond that we still come, by arrangement. The quote form measures your venue the moment you enter the address: inside the radius it quotes straight away, outside it hands you to James on WhatsApp, because a longer tow is a conversation, not a form field.
ELSEWHERE IN GAUTENG
East Rand, West Rand and the rest.
Kempton Park and Edenvale sit close to the 50 km line from Pretoria East, and Benoni, Boksburg, Roodepoort and Krugersdorp further out. Which side of the line your venue falls on depends on the exact address, so rather than guess, enter it on the quote form and it tells you in seconds. By arrangement is not a no: plenty of events are worth the longer tow.
These towns do not have their own pages yet. When DriveHaus has run an event there, they will.
WHAT THE SITE NEEDS
The same four things, everywhere.
- Space: 8m × 6m of firm, level ground, a route in at least 3m wide with 2.8m of clearance, and 3.5m clear overhead where the roof goes up.
- Surface: tarmac, paving or firm grass, level enough for the trailer to stand on its stands.
- Power: No venue power needed. The trailer carries four solar panels, a 5 kVA inverter and a battery bank: if there is a plug within 20 m we use it, and if not the bay runs on its own, so load shedding changes nothing.
- Permission: the venue, estate or building management happy for a trailer to be on site. James confirms it with them before your date.

Do you go outside Gauteng?
Gauteng is where DriveHaus works. Anything beyond 50 km of Pretoria East is by arrangement, so WhatsApp James on 063 401 8558 with the venue and the date and he will tell you honestly whether it works.
How is distance measured?
One way, by road, from our base in Pretoria East to your venue address. The quote form measures it when you enter the address, so the answer is the real driving distance, not a circle on a map.
Can we book a venue beyond 50 km?
Yes. It is quoted by James rather than by the form: the tow is worked out with you and shown in your quote as one number, with nothing added afterwards.
Do you come to the East Rand?
Yes. Kempton Park and Edenvale are close to the 50 km line and Benoni and Boksburg a little further, so enter your venue on the quote form to see whether travel is included, or WhatsApp James and he will arrange it.
