DriveHaus is a mobile golf simulator for hire: a full golf bay in a trailer, towed to your wedding venue in Gauteng and run quietly by James from setup to pack down. Wedding guest entertainment for the awkward hour between the ceremony and the reception, or the late stretch when half the room wants an alternative to the dance floor. A lit golf bay on the lawn, silent for the speeches.

There are no fixed packages: the quote is built around your event. James writes every quote himself, itemised, and sends it today, usually within two hours. A 40% deposit locks the date; the balance is due 48 hours before. Quotes are valid 7 days, and there is no second invoice. Full terms on our legal page.

When does it run: before, between or after the reception?
Whenever suits your running order. Most couples use it between the ceremony and the reception, while the photos are being taken, and again late in the evening. Tell James the timings and he builds the bay’s hours around them.
Will it clash with the ceremony or the speeches?
No. Tell us the running order and we go quiet for the ceremony, the speeches and the first dance. The loudest thing we make is the ball.
Will it be in the photos?
Only if you want it to be. Lit at dusk it photographs well; if you would rather it stayed out of the formal shots, we park it away from the main sight lines.
Can it be at a farm or estate venue?
Yes, anywhere inside Gauteng with 8 × 6 m of firm, level ground and a route in at least 3 m wide with 2.8 m of clearance along the way in. Travel within 50 km of Pretoria East is included; further out is by arrangement.
How close to the marquee can it park, and does the venue need to approve it?
Close enough for guests to wander over with a drink, far enough that the ball is the loudest thing near the tables. Yes, the venue approves the spot, and James checks the access with them before he confirms.
Can guests play in formal wear?
Yes. Jackets off, heels optional, and no golf shoes needed: players hit off a mat into a screen, in whatever they wore to the ceremony.
Do guests need to play golf?
Not even a little. Beginners have more fun than scratch golfers, often by a lot. James coaches every first-timer through their first swing.
What if it rains?
Light rain is fine: the bay is covered and play carries on. If severe weather cuts your event short, the time you lose is rescheduled or refunded pro rata, exactly as our weather policy sets out. The weather and cancellation policy.
