HYDE PARK · PRIVATE PARTIES Golf simulator hire in Hyde Park.
DriveHaus is a mobile golf simulator for hire: a full golf bay built into a trailer, towed to your Hyde Park home or private function, opened in about 30 minutes and run by James for the whole booking. One discreet operator, briefed on your guests if you would like him to be.

WHY DRIVEHAUS IN HYDE PARK
One operator, not a crew
Hyde Park is 58 km from our Pretoria base, just outside our 50 km service area, so this one is by arrangement rather than an instant price. Homes in Hyde Park, Sandhurst and Illovo tend to have the space and the security already; what a host here values is discretion. DriveHaus is one person accountable: James writes the quote, tows the trailer and runs the bay himself, so there is nobody new to brief on the night.
Places near HYDE PARK we can set up at
- The Saxon
- Hyde Park Corner
- The Houghton Hotel
- Sandhurst and Illovo homes
- Dunkeld and Houghton homes
Every venue sets its own rules for vehicles, access and noise, so James confirms the spot with the venue before your date. Not listed? Send the address and he checks it.
A PRIVATE EVENING IN HYDE PARK
Planned with your planner, run by one person.
A private party in Hyde Park, Sandhurst, Illovo, Dunkeld or Houghton is planned around the house: the gate, the driveway, the planner and the guest list. This is how an evening runs.
- Your planner sends the run sheet: arrival, dinner, speeches and the last round. James builds the bay’s hours around it.
- A photo of the gate and the driveway on WhatsApp first. The route in needs 3m of width and 2.8m of clearance, and the spot 8m × 6m of firm, level ground with 3.5m clear overhead.
- If your guests need it, James signs an NDA in advance.
- The trailer arrives and opens in about 30 minutes, before the first guest.
- Guests join the board only if they want to, under POPIA, and under 18s never appear on a public board.
- The bay pauses for the speeches, and the evening ends by 22:00, the close of the operating window.

Questions from Hyde Park.
Can you coordinate with our existing event planner?
Yes. Send us their contact and James takes the operational brief directly with them: run sheet, timings and how the bay runs between guests. You stay out of the middle of it.
Do you provide a golf professional?
On a bring your own basis. You or your planner engage the pro; James coordinates the operational side and quotes any extra play time alongside the rest of the event.
Will our guests' details stay private?
Guests only check in on their phone if they want a place on the board, under POPIA, and under 18s never appear on any public board. The ranked results sheet you get afterwards carries no guest contact details.
Is travel to Hyde Park included?
Not automatically. Hyde Park is 58 km from our Pretoria base, just outside our 50 km service area, so this one is by arrangement rather than an instant price. WhatsApp James on 063 401 8558 with the date and venue and the tow is worked out with you, then shown in your quote as one number.
Do you need power at the venue?
No venue power needed. The trailer carries four solar panels, a 5 kVA inverter and a battery bank: if there is a plug within 20 m we use it, and if not the bay runs on its own, so load shedding changes nothing.
