JOHANNESBURG · SANDTON Golf simulator hire in Johannesburg.
DriveHaus is a mobile golf simulator for hire: a full golf bay built into a trailer, towed to your venue in Johannesburg, Sandton or Midrand, opened in about 30 minutes and run by James for the whole booking. Midrand and Sandton sit inside the included travel radius; the northern suburbs beyond it are by arrangement.

JOHANNESBURG SUBURBS
Where we go in Johannesburg
DriveHaus tows from Pretoria East, so Johannesburg is measured by road, suburb by suburb. Midrand and Sandton are inside the included 50 km; Bryanston, Fourways, Rosebank and Hyde Park are just beyond it and booked by arrangement, which means a WhatsApp to James rather than a form.
HOW TRAVEL WORKS
Measured by road, suburb by suburb.
Travel is included inside 50 km of our Pretoria East base, one way by road. For Johannesburg that works out like this:
- Midrand, 36 km: travel included
- Sandton, 50 km: travel included, exactly on the edge of the radius
- Fourways, 54 km: by arrangement with James
- Bryanston, 54 km: by arrangement with James
- Rosebank, 58 km: by arrangement with James
- Hyde Park, 58 km: by arrangement with James
By arrangement is not a no. The tow is worked out with you on WhatsApp (063 401 8558) and shown in your quote as one number, with nothing added afterwards.
ARRIVING ON TIME
Setup done before the first guest.
The route in is the N1 and the Ben Schoeman, which is quick at ten in the morning and slow at seven. James plans every Johannesburg tow backwards from your first guest, allowing for peak traffic on the way in, so the bay is open and tested before anyone walks out of the building.
For a morning function that means leaving early rather than arriving late; for an evening one it means missing the afternoon rush. Tell us the first guest time in your enquiry and the arrival is planned around it.
OFFICE PARKS, ESTATES AND VENUES
What a Johannesburg site needs.
The bay is built into the trailer, so it only goes where the trailer can drive: 8m × 6m of firm, level ground, a route in at least 3m wide with 2.8m of clearance, and 3.5m clear overhead where the roof goes up.
Office park basements are usually too low, so Sandton and Midrand functions tend to run in visitor parking, a forecourt or a garden. Estates in Fourways and Bryanston want the vehicle details and a contractor permit ahead of the day, which James sends once your date is confirmed. Conference and expo venues sign off the spot and the delivery window, and the trailer brings its own power, so no power allocation is needed.

Questions from Johannesburg.
Do you come to Johannesburg?
Yes. Midrand and Sandton are inside our included 50 km radius from Pretoria East, and the northern suburbs just beyond it, Bryanston, Fourways, Rosebank and Hyde Park, are booked by arrangement on WhatsApp.
Is travel included to Sandton?
Yes. Sandton is 50 km by road, exactly on the edge of the included radius, so a venue a little further north or west may be by arrangement. The quote form measures your venue address and tells you straight away.
Have you played events in Johannesburg?
Yes. DriveHaus launched at the PGA Golf & Lifestyle Show 2026 at The Campus in Bryanston (106 players over three days), and ran the longest drive at the NCCA Annual Golf Day at Eagle Canyon Golf Estate in Honeydew on Friday 16 October 2026. See every event we have played.
How early can you arrive for a morning event?
Early enough that setup is done before your first guest. Setup takes about 30 minutes, and James plans the tow on the N1 backwards from your start time, allowing for peak traffic.
Can you set up in an office park?
Yes, usually in visitor parking, a forecourt or a garden. It needs 8m × 6m of level ground, 3m of access width with 2.8m of clearance on the way in, and 3.5m overhead where the roof goes up, which rules out most basements. James confirms the spot with building management before your date.
Do you work inside estates?
Yes. Once the date is confirmed James sends the vehicle and trailer details to the estate office for the boom and the contractor permit, and works to the estate's hours and noise rules.
Can it run at an expo or conference venue?
Yes, outdoors or in a hall with the access and headroom above, and with its own power. Every visitor checks in on their phone to get on the live board, so an expo stand ends with a consented list of who played. See brand activations and expos.
