DriveHaus is a mobile golf simulator for hire: a full golf bay in a trailer, towed to your year end function or client golf day in Pretoria, Johannesburg and across Gauteng, and run by James from setup to pack down. HR books the venue, the caterer and the DJ, and nobody remembers any of it. They remember the intern who out-drove the CFO.

There are no fixed packages: the quote is built around your event. James writes every quote himself, itemised, and sends it today, usually within two hours. A 40% deposit locks the date; the balance is due 48 hours before. Quotes are valid 7 days, and there is no second invoice. Full terms on our legal page.

Is a golf simulator good for a year end function?
Yes, because everyone can play and nobody has to be good at it. Golfers get real ball flight and a board to fight over; first-timers are airborne within a minute. It runs beside the bar, the food and the speeches, so it adds to the function rather than replacing it.
How many staff can play in an afternoon?
One to four players per round, five to ten minutes a round, so a four-hour booking turns over roughly 30 to 50 guests, with time between rounds for drinks. At a larger function we are one attraction among several, running a queue all night, so a few hundred guests is no obstacle.
Can it run in our office park car park or basement?
A car park, yes: 8 × 6 m of firm, level ground and a route in at least 3 m wide with 2.8 m of clearance on the way in. A basement only if the ramp and ceiling clear 2.8 m and there is 3.5 m of clear headroom where the trailer opens, which most basements do not have. Send a photo or a plan and James confirms before he quotes.
Can we invoice against a purchase order?
Yes. Send the PO number with your acceptance and it appears on one itemised invoice from DriveHaus (Pty) Ltd. Nothing is billed afterwards.
How far ahead should we book for December?
As soon as the date is set. October to December is year end season and there is one trailer, so December dates go first. A written quote holds for 7 days and the 40% deposit secures the date.
Will it be too loud for the speeches?
No. There is no PA and no music of our own. We position away from the top table, and the bay pauses completely for speeches or awards.
Can we brand it?
The screen between shots can carry your logo and the board can carry your name. A full trailer wrap is quoted as an add-on, and James confirms the lead time with the quote.
