Team building golf simulator hire · Pretoria and Johannesburg Everyone plays, the board decides.
DriveHaus is a mobile golf simulator for hire: a full golf bay in a trailer, towed to your team building day, office park or conference venue in Pretoria, Johannesburg and across Gauteng, and run by James. Handicaps do not matter here. First-timers are airborne within a minute, the board keeps score for every department, and the whole office finds out who really runs the place.
Four team building formats, no handicaps needed.
- 08:00 James arrives; the bay is open and the board live about 30 minutes later
- 08:45 Briefing: teams, formats and how check in works on each phone
- 09:00 to 11:15 Team rounds, one to four players at a time
- 11:15 Finals: longest drive and the closest to the pin knockout
- 11:45 Prize giving, with James calling the winners
- Afterwards: a ranked results sheet for your team, no contact details on it

The questions this crowd asks.
How do you play golf as a team?
On the simulator, in team formats such as a scramble or best ball on real courses like Pebble Beach and St Andrews, up to eight players a game, or department against department on one longest drive or closest to the pin board, one to four players a round.
Is it inclusive for non golfers?
Yes. First-timers are airborne within a minute, James coaches every first swing, and a first-timer category means nobody is competing with the office golfer unless they want to.
How many people can take part?
One to four players per round, five to ten minutes a round, so 30 to 50 people play in a four-hour booking. For a bigger group, the rounds become a relay: one drive each, team totals on the board.
Can we split into teams?
Yes. Players check in under a team or department on their own phone, and the board ranks the teams as well as the players.
Can it run alongside a conference?
Yes. It runs in the breaks and after the last session, and a multi-day conference is quoted as one booking, with the trailer secured on site overnight.
How long should we book?
Bookings run for four hours or more. Four hours suits a half day with finals and prize giving; a full day suits a conference or a larger company.
Can it run indoors?
Only where the venue confirms the access and headroom: 8 × 6 m of floor, a route in at least 3 m wide with 2.8 m of clearance, and 3.5 m of clear headroom where the trailer opens. Most team building days run outside, in a car park, on a lawn or at the venue entrance.
Can it work alongside our facilitator or a team building company?
Yes. Send James the facilitator’s contact and he takes the run sheet, timings and formats directly with them, so the golf slots into the rest of the day.
