DriveHaus is a mobile golf simulator for hire: a full golf bay in a trailer, towed to your golf day, club day or sponsor hole anywhere in Gauteng, and run by James all day. Why it works on a golf day

It fills the dead time and sells the hole.

01 The slow fourball has somewhere to be Shotgun starts make queues. A bay at the halfway house turns twenty minutes of standing about into the bit of the day they talk about.
02 A sponsor gets a queue, not a banner Your brand on the sponsor hole, and a reason for every player in the field to stop and talk. Nobody photographs a hole board.

There are no fixed packages: the quote is built around your event. James writes every quote himself, itemised, and sends it today, usually within two hours. A 40% deposit locks the date; the balance is due 48 hours before. Quotes are valid 7 days, and there is no second invoice. Full terms on our legal page.

Every guest is playing for something Three shots every six months each win a DriveHaus day. Men's longest drive, ladies' longest drive, closest to the pin. Every guest who checks in at your event is on the boards. Nothing for you to run.

Can you get onto the course?

We need a firm, level 8 × 6 m patch and a route in at least 3 m wide with 2.8 m of clearance. Halfway houses, practice-range aprons and the tee boxes nearest the clubhouse almost always work. We check with the club before we confirm.

Can it run at the halfway house all day?

Yes. Bookings run for four hours or more, and a full golf day is quoted as one booking: we set up before the first tee off and stay until prize giving.

Can the hole sponsor brand the trailer, screen and board?

Yes. The sponsor’s logo can run on the screen between shots and on the live board. A full trailer wrap is quoted as an add-on, and James confirms the lead time with the quote.

Can you run men’s and ladies’ longest drive separately?

Yes. Men’s and ladies’ longest drive run on separate boards, with closest to the pin alongside if you want it.

Does it need power at the club?

No venue power needed. The trailer carries four solar panels, a 5 kVA inverter and a battery bank: if there is a plug within 20 m we use it, and if not the bay runs on its own, so load shedding changes nothing. No cable across a fairway, no generator noise.

How do players see the leaderboard?

Each player scans a QR code and checks in on their own phone. The live board then updates on every phone, and on any screen at the clubhouse, the moment a ball lands.

Can a golf club book it for a member day?

Yes. Clubs can book it for member days and ladies’ days as well as sponsored golf days, quoted to the hours and the number of members expected.

Can the competition prize be ours?

Yes. We score and announce; you hand over whatever the sponsor has put up. Every player who checked in is also on the six-monthly DriveHaus boards.
