How golf simulator hire is priced

Priced by the hour, with a minimum. There are no fixed packages: the quote is built around your event. James writes every quote himself, itemised line by line, and sends it today, usually within two hours.

01 Priced by the hour Your quote is built from the hours you book. An event on a public holiday is quoted at its own rate, and the quote names the holiday.

02 Evenings on their own line Every hour after 18:00 is shown on the quote as its own line, so you can see exactly what the evening adds.

03 A four-hour minimum Travel within 50 km of our Pretoria East base is included. Your total moves with the hours you book, evening hours after 18:00, travel beyond 50 km and a second operator for a bigger crowd.

WHAT SETS THE PRICE

Six things decide the quote.

A Saturday evening for thirty is not a Tuesday afternoon for eight, so the hourly rate is where a quote starts, not where it ends. These are the things that move a golf simulator hire quote, and nothing else does.

01 Hours on site There is a four-hour minimum. Daytime hours (08:00 to 18:00) and evening hours (18:00 to 22:00) are quoted as separate lines, so you can see exactly what the evening adds.

02 Guest numbers Up to thirty guests, James runs the bay on his own. Above that a second operator joins so the queue keeps moving, and a host is added above sixty. Your headcount decides the staffing, and the quote shows it.

03 Distance Travel is included within 50 km of our Pretoria East base, one way by road. Beyond that the tow is arranged with you and shown as its own line.

04 Extra days From two consecutive days, a booking is quoted as one multi day hire rather than day by day, which suits shows, expos and wedding weekends.

05 Public holidays An event on a public holiday is quoted at its own rate, and the quote names the holiday so nothing looks like a mistake.

06 Branding and extras A trailer wrap, your logo on the screen and board, or photo and video capture: each is quoted as its own line, only if you ask for it.

Its own power: No venue power needed. The trailer carries four solar panels, a 5 kVA inverter and a battery bank: if there is a plug within 20 m we use it, and if not the bay runs on its own, so load shedding changes nothing.

HOW BOOKING WORKS

Quote, deposit, date secured.

Send the date, the hours, a rough guest count and the venue, on the quote form, by WhatsApp or by email.
James writes an itemised quote today, usually within two hours. It is valid for 7 days.
Signing the quote holds the date; the 40% deposit confirms it.
The balance is due 48 hours before the event.
On the day the trailer arrives, opens in about 30 minutes and James runs it until the last shot.

Mobile hire, a simulator venue or a portable net.

01 A simulator venue Your group books bays at a golf lounge and travels to it. Good for a small group that wants a night out; the venue sets the hours, the food and the atmosphere.

02 A portable net and screen A lighter setup carried into a room. Suits a small indoor space; the tracking and the screen are usually smaller, and someone has to run it.

03 A mobile golf simulator trailer A full bay comes to your venue with its own power and an operator. Suits functions where the golf is one part of a bigger event; it needs outdoor space or a hall with the headroom.

VENUE BAYS OR MOBILE HIRE

Booking bays at a venue, or bringing the bay to you.

Both are golf simulators. What you are paying for is different, so compare what each one includes rather than two numbers.

01 Bays at a golf simulator venue You book bays by the hour at a lounge or golf bar and your guests travel to it.

Who travels: Your guests, to the venue.
Hours and space: The venue’s opening hours, and as many bays as it has free on your date.
Food, drinks, music: The venue’s.
Best for: A small group’s night out, where the venue is the occasion.

02 Mobile golf simulator hire One full bay is towed to your office, home, school field or venue and run there for the hours you book.

Who travels: We do. Travel within 50 km of Pretoria East is included.
Hours and space: Your hours, 08:00 to 22:00, with a four-hour minimum. It needs 8m × 6m of firm, level ground, a route in at least 3m wide with 2.8m of clearance, and 3.5m clear overhead where the roof goes up.
Food, drinks, music: Yours: your caterer, your bar and your running order, with the bay quiet for the speeches.
Included: James running every round, clubs and balls, the live board on every phone and a ranked results sheet.
Best for: A function where the golf is one part of a bigger event: a year end, a golf day, an expo stand or a party at home.

How high a ceiling do you need for a golf simulator?

Outdoors, none: the bay is built into the trailer and brings its own roof. Indoors, the trailer needs 8m × 6m of firm, level ground, a route in at least 3m wide with 2.8m of clearance, and 3.5m clear overhead where the roof goes up, on a floor the venue confirms can take it.

How quickly do we get a quote?

What is the minimum booking?

How much is the deposit?

40% of the quoted total confirms the date. The balance is due 48 hours before the event.

Not within 50 km of Pretoria East, one way by road; that covers Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and Sandton. Beyond it, the tow is arranged with you and shown in the quote as its own line.

Will anything be added on the day?
